North Fork Vision... a Public School with Educational Choice

To all North Fork Vision Home & Community Program parents, educators, and staff.  If you are interested in offering classes to Vision learners, we welcome your information.  If you know of others who might be interested in offering classes, please pass this information along to them.

It is time for North Fork Vision Home and Community Program to update our course offerings for next year.  We are accepting information and proposals from current and potential educators.  Please submit your information electronically to Melinda Merriam at melindamerriam@nfvision.com.  All educators who want to be included in our course catalog need to submit the following by May 1st:

Scheduled date, time and location for class

Vision building space will be used by educators who are part of the coordinated schedule.  We have limited space available, so it is important for educators who are not part of the coordinated schedule to make arrangements for an alternate location as we cannot guarantee space at our building.

We will be expanding our coordinated educator schedule and are considering new educators for these opportunities.  We hope to offer elementary, middle and high school schedules.  If you want to be considered for inclusion in the coordinated schedule, indicate this in your email and please submit your resume and note what grade levels you are interested in teaching.

Inclusion in our coordinated schedule requires the following agreements:

·         Course funding will be $200 per learner per semester with five or more learners in a class, and $250 per learner per semester with four or fewer learners enrolled.

·         Documentation of learning will be provided quarterly.

·         Highly qualified or expertise in content area.

·         Flexibility in scheduling.

·         Coordinated schedule educators will have the use of our classroom space.
